Summary: Bond reimbursement resolutions are proposed for two projects: the Saugus WRP Power Distribution System Modifications and the Valencia WRP AWTF. Both projects have been previously awarded by the District’s Board and are under construction. The proposed resolutions, which are attached, declare the District’s intent to seek reimbursement for certain expenditures if bonds are issued for the projects. The resolution action does not commit the District to issue bonds; it identifies the intended use of bond proceeds and expands the time frame for when expenditures could be reimbursed. Staff will seek Board authority to issue bonds for these purposes in a future action.  This item is consistent with the Districts’ Guiding Principles to protect financial and facility assets through prudent investment and maintenance programs; and commitment to operational excellence.
