Summary: On July 8, 2026, the Board approved Engineering Services Agreements with five consulting firms to provide on-call engineering consulting services to complete high-priority projects during peak demand periods and all individual projects assigned over $100,000 are to be reported to District No. 2. Due to current internal capacity constraints, it was determined that engineering support services from AECOM, one of five firms selected, are needed to complete the design of the Project within the time frame required. The engineering consulting services to be provided include designing repairs for the conveyor truss support system, upgrades to the existing biosolids truck loading station, expansion of an existing odor control system, and various ancillary electrical improvements.  Of the five consulting firms, AECOM was determined to be the most qualified to provide the required services at competitive rates. This item is consistent with the Districts’ Guiding Principle of commitment to fiscal responsibility and prudent financial stewardship.
